Untitled

In a lonely room I sit…
waiting…wanting…wishing…
the walls seem to close in and the door seems to continue to be shut.
I am not comfortable on the floor and I seek a clean space but feel trapped…
waiting..wanting…wishing…
All I can see is a small dark gap at the bottom of the door
waiting..wanting…wishing…
If only I had a broom, If only I had a window, If only I had some tools to fix this
waiting..wanting…wishing
so lonely…so sad…
waiting…wanting…wishing
I could be someone, somewhere, somehow else
waiting…wanting…wishing
that things would have turned out different if I had made different choices.
Perhaps things would be better for you now
waiting…wanting…wishing…
to make a better, brighter, healthier future for you.
